It's easy to say things like it was moments of spontaneous creativity, followed by a time of deep considered reflection. It's tempting to reflect that it was a result of a whirl of defined lines and hues of colour. Or was it a number of different focuses of energy lending tension to the compositions? Perhaps they are solutions in linear complexities and colouristic impacts? They might even be vague challenges to what is thought to be conventional painting styles. A mix of artistic existential abstractions even?
Or is this simply talking Pollocks?
